You are you and I'm me
Two separate beings but could exist together
I am not defined by the standards you set
Nor by the norm you feel is right

I am me
I am strong
I am beautiful
I am confident
I could be weak but yet so strong
When I fall I'll rise so tall

I am me
The leader of my tomorrow
So it's my job to make me better
It's on me to grow into a winner
Don't be fooled by my feeble looks
I am made of steel

A baby eagle is still an eagle
Said a wise fellow
In me is a champion waiting on my moment
And then I'll soar so high because I know there is enough room in the sky for me and you.
